May Day is approaching. The lovely, spring-coloured doughnuts decorate the tables. Or do they?
Frying doughnuts may can seem like a big effort. No worries! The ready-made Kringles are perfectly suited for making your own May Day doughnuts. Frosting them is easy, and you can give the decorating task to the children. Sprinkle cake decorations or crushed sweets on top.
Ingredients
Keski Vanilla Kringles
Cocoa glazing:
¾ dl unsweetened cocoa powder
3 dl icing sugar
a splash of water at a time
cake sprinkles
Mix together the unsweetened cocoa powder and icing sugar, and add a splash of water at a time while mixing, until you have a spreadable but thick paste. Drizzle over the Keski Vanilla Kringles letting it drip down the sides. Decorate with cake sprinkles.
Liquorice glazing:
4 dl icing sugar
Liquorice liquid aroma, dispense with care
a splash of water at a time
Black or purple
food colouring, dispense with care
Mix together the icing sugar and liquid aroma, dispense with care. Add a splash of water at a time while mixing, until you have a spreadable but thick paste. Drizzle over the Keski Vanilla Kringles letting it drip down the sides. Decorate with cake sprinkles.
Strawberry glazing:
4 dl strawberry-flavoured icing sugar
a splash of water at a time
cake sprinkles
Mix together the strawberry-flavoured icing sugar and a splash of water at a time while mixing, until you have a spreadable but thick paste. Drizzle over the Keski Vanilla Kringles letting it drip down the sides. Decorate with cake sprinkles.
